Base Building: Week 5 (27.40)

Sunday (4-16-17)

  • ran 10.01 miles
  • walked 6.09 miles

10 miles around the lake followed by 6 miles of walking around the lake with Mom. Brought me to a couple of new step count PRs. Plus I broke my old step count streak of 99 days. πŸ™‚

Step PRs 4-29-17

Monday (4-17-17)

  • 45 minutes of yoga
  • cycle class ~14 miles
  • walked 3.5 miles

It rained most of the day and it was a struggle to reach my step count goal. Just barely made it to 10,000. Whew!

Tuesday (4-18-17)

  • ran 5.21 miles
  • walked 5.26 miles

1 mile warm up, 3×800 m with 800 m recovery in between, 1 mile warm down… all on the treadmill. I’ve always liked doing faster run on the treadmill, because I can force myself to maintain a harder pace for my intervals. Sometimes when I’m running on the track or road I get lost in my thoughts and accidentally slow down (oops, guilty).

Wednesday (4-19-17)

  • ran 4.04 miles
  • strength training (dumbbells, abs, planks, squats, plie squats, legs)
  • walked 9.05 miles

Thursday (4-20-17)

  • ran 3.04 miles
  • swam 850 meters (30 minutes)
  • walked 7.26 miles

Friday (4-21-17)

  • walked 4.53 miles

Saturday (4-22-17)

  • ran 5.10 miles
  • walked 7.03 miles
